Monica's amazing Christmas display!

Image
I had to go by Monica's house to see all this work she did with her spouse! Christmas lights - joyful and bright to brighten up the cold dark night! I have never seen such a house full of cheer. Elephants, moose, peacock and deer! Narwahl, otter and octopus too! I love Monica's Christmas light zoo!

A bouncy house at the park????

Image
What's that noise as we walk along loud and kind of scary? A bouncy house right in the park. Luna was quite wary! Kids were bouncing making noise Luna says "let's go!" and runs from kids and toys!

I'm going to be going on a Pilgrimage!

Image
I was debating whether I should set up a new blog for this, but it's still a "Look at That" only it will be coming from Spain and France instead of in my neighborhood. There is a Find Penguins site: https://findpenguins.com/2cvpwfp59vom4/trip/camino-de-santiago that will actually follow us - and now I have it here - just in case. Here is something I found: The Pilgrim's Creed by Murray Bodo, OSF from The Road to Mount Subusio I am not in control I am not in a hurry I walk in Faith and hope. I greet everyone I meet with peace. I bring back only what God gives me. This sculpture was seen at the University Village just after a "Camino Meet-Up" in Seattle.

2022 is Marching along!

Image
I started this blog post in March - I'm not sure where I was going other than showing things in my world. But this year is "marching along!" and now it's April!

I Never Thought I'd See a Moose

I never thought I'd see a Moose on a path in Federal Way But this moose - was on the loose And really made my day!

Out of Many, One!

Image
On a walk through Saghalie Park, I noticed this beautiful painting. I think it's a recent addition as I don't remember seeing it before.  E Pluribus Unum. Out of many, one.  Federal Way is a diverse city and I'm so happy to live here.

The cheeriest mailbox ever!

Image
I wish I had this cheery mailbox. We saw it on a walk through NE Tacoma. Each home has their own mailbox making it easier to do such fun painting. But maybe we could do it too! On our neighborhood post - it would make it much easier to remember which is ours. I love a burst of color and cheer on gray days of Winter.
